What we collect

An account holds your email address, your display name, the languages you read, and your reading position in each text. If you sign in with Google we receive your email address, name and profile picture from Google.

Why we collect it

To keep your place in a book across devices, to show your library, and to apply the daily limits attached to your plan. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

In a Postgres database and object storage hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, inside the European Union.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Deleting your account removes your profile, your reading positions and your saved list. Write to privacy@paralelo.to.

Cookies

A session cookie keeps you signed in and a preference cookie remembers your chosen interface language. Neither is used for tracking.
